In 2008, Scott-Free was created in loving memory of Scott Gruder. With the help of many, Scotts' ultimate goal of providing opportunities to at risk children is realized and carried on through The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation. Scott-Free provides children an opportunity to explore the possibilities of their own abilities,dreams and desires by giving them exposure to life outside their immediate surroundings. Through thoughtful donations, Scott-Free pairs children up with specific camp environments where they can enrich already identified talents and skills or explore and discover talents and abilities they are unaware they possess. In addition to other donations, our annual event determines the available funding, and ultimately the number of children Scott-Free can benefit. However, without community support and donations such as The hCard, Scott-Free is just an idea.
